We have a number of events and areas readied for the Tenth Anniversary Party. However, we're still taking suggestions for events. What kind of events would you like to participate in? Post your suggestions here! --EDIT: See our site: www.secrets-of-asherah.com for more details! (Please stay on topic. Posts not directly related to this subject will be removed. Thank you!)

Man I'm excited for this... You pretty much nailed everything I wanted. How about... PvP tourney? Treasure hunt with items that you cash in for rewards? Like silver tokens hidden under trees or something, and then you can cash them in for rewards.
But yeah I'm definitely excited for this and you got the main stuff. I have my cousin and a few friends that like FSOs so I'll be sure to bring them here with me!
EDIT-------------
Well, this is probably breaking your rules but considering theres no forum post for this I'm just going to stick it in here.
I'm gonna throw some random ideas out here to suggest some stuff on may need to be done.
So apparently what took people away from any FSO was the game being boring or plain. Or no one played so it created a chain reaction of people quitting. (Advertising probably wont solve this, and come on if you look at what used to be the "popular FSO" (Starts with a T) that isn't so popular anymore.
There are a few vets who log in like once a month plus some new players for a whopping total of a peak of 10 players a day. Thats REALLY not enough. You have to make something that will make players want to stay.)
Obviously you guys have some pretty in depth skills that are very unique. Which separates you (In a way) from other FSOs. Including the one which was popular i mentioned above.
Add some combat interactivity. For example: blocking. You press a button to block and you can dodge attacks (You can't attack while blocking and you move slower and it only blocks the face you are looking at) or something like this. Or maybe even a combat triangle. Why don't you throw some polls up and see what people want? Hibernia gave up and turned it into a minecraft server... I just don't want you guys doing this.
I'm, just hoping this isn't going to turn into what runescape did with their 2007 runescape server. Hype was generated, nostalgia was there. Players came. And then 70% of the players quit in the first 3 months. If you guys are bringing back an FSO in 2013, You will have to make some serious improvements.
Now I didn't mean to offend anyone by tacking this on the first post of your event suggestion page, nor did I mean to say this project isn't going to work, frankly it seems like this is going to be the best FSO there is. But this type of game is a dinosaur. You really need to upgrade it to something that isn't, with something that really makes players stay. And share this game with their friends.

It's tough to respond to your post. You bring up so many good points. For the next few days, we're going to simply try to have a good time and reconnect with some old friends. After that we can make better decisions on how to proceed.
